98 Durango heater core
2015年6月12日98 Durango heater coreI’ve had nothing but problems with this Durango for the last 8 yrs!!! In 2000 I had to replace the transmission. Had ball joints replaced,water pump,timing chain/casing,fan belt,radiator fluid hose. I’m afraid and I’m told it could be the heater core. Heater Core isn’t it? I found out taking out the dashboard to get to the heater Core is what makes this repair costly.I was wondering can I have a mechanic bypass the heater core and deal with no heat till I can afford to get it replaced before winter?Replacing the heater core is no way the same as the A/C. The heater core gives you the heat to your car, to replace the heater core is simple. Without "proper" knowledge it can be done in a few hours by yourrself. No real knowledge is needed. As you may or may not know, the heater core i located on back of the firewall of your car which is approximately on the other side of the glovebox. Unfortunately, in the ’recent’ years they didnt make it so easy to get to, my brother has an 86 F 150 and all he had to do was remove the glovebox and remove the panel to replace it! So easy! You have to remove your dash (do it carefully), you may or may not have to remove some of the knobs for radio/heat/etc if not just take it off and behind the glove box will be a panel thing. Look at the heater core which looks like a little radiator. There should be lines coming in and out of it. Carefully unmount the lines from the heater core and cap them for a few mins as you replace the heater core and replace the lines to the new heater core. Replace / rescrew it back it in and replace the dash as you found it. Run the engine with heat on (make sure youre thermostat is still good!) and run all the air out of it incase any got in which will make the air run a little cooler for a bit until its all gone. Should be pretty self explainatory from there. Make it a day project cause the dash isnt that fun to take apart! Good luck!!!Replacing the heater core is a pain in the butt. I believe that there are nuts on the engine firewall that I have to remove. Then take out the box replace heater core. I took my total time and carefully labeled the wires with numbers and wrote in a notepad what each number does and goes. I’m saving 600 bucks!! hahahaIf you have ever done one of these heater cores, you would never say these are simple!There are hidden bolts coming in from under the hood and under t he dash. The heater core and a/c condenser are located in the same unit behind the dash board.You must move the entire dash board about 2 feet away from its original position. Also the a/c must be evacuated, most of the center console must be removed, and the air bags have to be disconnected. And after you have finally removed the heater core/ a/c unit There are still about 20 more screws and clips you must remove to take the unit itself apart. Oh and if you do it you better change both the heater core and a/c condenser because they both corrode and leak. Worst design ever.OK I did due my 2cd heater core in a year on my 2000 durango, I bought the cheap one at Pep boys I Multicolor Printed Pony Metalipp 120mm wont do that again even when times are hard I don’t know if the dealer sells the brass ones but didn’t they all used to be brass for that reason.Russell above if right on It is all in one unit or box if you can afford to re4place the AC condenser at the same time you really should,(it looks like the heater core but bigger)William your saying control wont turn on need more info! here is a couple Ideas there are two vent doors in or on the heat and a/c box with vacuum valves, if you put the box together wrong clamping down on the vent door or pinched one of the vacuum lines that go from the box to the dash controls. try taking off the front of the dash again check and make sure ur vac lines r not pinched and secure with no holes, then check the cables routing. The Cable controls the vent operation (floor, windshield, or middle) vacuum controls temp. Also double check all ur connectors, there is only one way they’ll hook up so u might have missed something. Good luck everone but you tooo will be an expert after removing it a couple of timesDan the dodge man a/c and heater core are in the same box in the 2000 Durango , seperated by partisions or vents, you do have to diconnect the A/C lines and for and one else doing this 1 of4 bolts under hood is behind the dipstick holder. You also don’t have to pull the steering colum just drop it diconnect all grounds and most wires conections they only go together one way , loosen dash, hang it down it is on hinges at the bottom, disconected wire harness/ plastic assembly behind dash and any other remaining wires see my other comment for the rest .

I love good coffee and the Broadway Roastery on 8th seemed like a nice place to get some. Unfortunately the staff preparing it this afternoon really didn’t seem to have a clue about what they were selling or how to prepare it. Milk was way too hot definitely burnt in White Satin Milady 100mm a cappuccino, and the server laughed and asked what I meant when I asked which coffee paired best with milk. Okay, to call it "pairing" does sound a bit snobby, but I guess I expected someone who works alongside a roaster to understand the product. The coffee was decent. Interesting how service and preparation can make or break a good thing.

The only criticism I can think (And it’s not a huge deal) is that the WiFi hotspot doesn’t cover the whole building properly; The WiFi router is apparently in a back room. It should be in the center of the seating area to achieve better coverage. In fact, the optimal solution would be to either have two routers providing two separate access points or one router with another antenna box plugged into the LAN. That way the cafe could cover the whole building covered with a strong s WiFi signal. As it is, you can’t get good WiFi unless you’re in the main seating area. If you’re on the deck or in the smaller room behind the glass wall, you get a weak signal or no signal at all. In short, the building is too large for the WiFi router they’re using.
That said, most coffee shops have slow internet, too small of a seating area, or both. The Roastery has good unlimited internet (not restricted or throttled or capped or behind a pay wall or anything like that) and as someone who believes in Net Neutrality, I salute them for having it set up the way they do. :) Of course, heir WiFi will be slower in busy times when a whole bunch of people are trying to get online all at once, but that’s to be expected.
The Coffee is great; They actually roast it right on site so it just doesn’t get better then that. The selection is huge. and I do mean HUGE! I’m not an expert on coffee, but I know a long list of coffees when I see one. i bought a bag of decaf Colombian to use with my home grinder and I’m loving it. :)
Good selection of tea, but sadly no Rooibos. I love Rooibos. They also, for some weird reason, have some ordinary bags of black tea (decaf earl grey, Red Rose, and London Fog) under the counter. probably because there’s not much money in selling that.
Anyways they don’t have much food there, just a fairly good selection of deserts, and also soft drinks. But hey, it’s a coffee shop not a restaurant and that’s what they specialize in; GOOD COFFEE! :)That said, the desserts are very good.
I give it full marks for just being a coffee shop and not trying to be something they’re not.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Saskatoon. It has a relaxing atmosphere, which can cater to many needs social outings, business meetings, studying, family get togethers ext. There’s also a play area for kids and free wireless. The coffee is fantastic along with the cafe broadway, cafe chestnut, and green tea latte. The London fog is too sweet for me. I do prefer this location over the one on broadway because I find parking instantly. The one on broadway has awful wifi and tends to be more chilly than this one. Also, this location has more of an open layout and the washrooms are cleaner. I do agree that other coffee shops have much better drinks for slightly more money. But those shops have more of a "fun" environment for younger folk whereas this shop is more of an "all in one."

FORMER NSW independent and South Coast resident, John Hatton, has told voters not to worry about so called instability following Saturday’s election, claiming the current federal Gold Leather Matrinana 100mm situation has the capacity to create a "far better government".
Mr Hatton likened the weekend’s result to his own time in state politics, where he was one Gold Leather Matrinana 100mm of three independents holding the balance of power in NSW for four years.
While he admits the "pressure was enormous" during that time, he said the opportunity to drive change and stamp out corruption in several government bodies made it an "extremely satisfying experience".
"The same thing can now happen in Canberra," Mr Hatton said from his Huskisson home yesterday. "If these independents concentrate on the major issues and are not tempted by lollies for their electorate or power for themselves, they have the opportunity to enact great change."
Mr Hatton claimed the climate of fear being generated by the major parties about a hung parliament was based on the fact that neither had the power to corrupt the decision making process anymore.
"So, not every piece of legislation will get through," he said.
"But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Impasses can be resolved the only real tragedy would be if any secret deals go ahead.
"Governments love to talk about instability when independents are around, but that’s only because they suddenly don’t have the power to control every decision that’s being made. As long as these independents stand their ground, we’re likely to see a far White Satin Matrinana 100mm better government," he said.
"The problem with both parties until now has been that we’ve had Rose Satin Matrinana 100mm no one to separate the facts from the spin, and the executive of both major parties have had iron fisted control over their operations, which usually doesn’t translate to good results for the people."
Mr Hatton said he was impressed with independents Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott, but was concerned with Bob Katter’s "parochial approach" to holding the balance of power.
But at the end of the day, he said, the federal situation presented a very real opportunity for grassroots communities to benefit, and that should be welcomed as an exciting prospect for voters no matter which side of the political fence they’re on.

Electrolysis is a popular procedure for the permanent removal of hairs. Used for both cosmetic and therapeutic purposes, electrolysis is a safe procedure causing no long term side effects. One method of electrolysis is known as the "galvanic method," which removes hair by causing a chemical reaction within the hair follicle. Although you should consult your doctor prior to electrolysis treatments, galvanic electrolysis is a relatively painless operation that has a high rate of success for the permanent removal of hair.
The galvanic method of electrolysis, or galvanic electrolysis, transmits a direct electrical charge to a hair follicle. Once this charge reaches the hair bulb, the tissue where new hair begins forming, it causes a chemical reaction that releases sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide is known more commonly as lye, a caustic agent that can be harmful to living tissue. Galvanic electrolysis releases a small amount of sodium hydroxide, not enough to be toxic but enough to cauterize the follicle. Galvanic electrolysis is used to remove thick, coarse hairs from the body.
Thermolysis is another form of electrolysis used to remove thin, fine hairs from the body. Instead of the direct current used in galvanic electrolysis, thermolysis needles transmit a high frequency alternating current to individual hairs. This alternating current travels down into the hair bulb, heating the area to a temperature hot enough to cause cauterization. The blend method refers to a combination of both galvanic electrolysis and thermolysis and is normally used when larger areas of hair, including both coarse and fine hairs, are to be removed.
Electrolysis procedures will not permanently remove hairs after the first treatment, but they will damage the hair bulb enough to reduce the next follicle’s growth significantly. Although there is a slight risk of intense pain, electrolysis is safer for your skin than waxing or depilatories, chemical ointments designed to remove hair above the skin’s surface. The course of treatment will vary from patient to patient, as some will need fewer electrolysis procedures to remove hairs permanently. After the first treatment, follow up treatments should be scheduled every week or every other week until permanent removal has occurred. Before selecting an electrologist, check your state regulations on electrolysis specialists, and ask to see your electrologist’s certifications.
